The Turkish-American community in Rhode Island is not as large as its sister heritage members. However, we consider ourselves part of the very fabric of Rhode Island in all paths of life that we lead. We are the bankers, engineers, merchants, entrepreneurs, students, professors, teachers, restaurateurs, hair stylists, doctors, nurses ... We are your neighbors and we are proud to be your neighbors.

WHO WE ARE

Turkish American Cultural Society of Rhode Island (TACS-RI) is a 501 C (3) tax-exempt non-profit organization, dedicated to educating and informing the public about the many dimensions of Turkey, and Turkish heritage in Rhode Island. We are a non-political entity, and our efforts are focused on the historical, cultural, sociological, and anthropological aspects of Turkey and Turkish life. You will find a detailed program of our activities which are updated as more information becomes available.
